The apparatus consists of a benchtop steel case hosting a dry bath, 4, 6, 8 or 12 positions: the instrument is equipped with individual variable area flowmeters for each position. The advantage of the aluminium block bath consists in the elimination of smelling oil baths and toxic fumes. Besides, the glassware remains clean and not slippery as with oil baths, reducing the risks of incidental breakings.
